Nogizaka46 is Japan's first official rival group of AKB48 and one of the country's most commercially successful idol acts, having sold tens of millions of singles since their 2011 debut. The annual Birthday Live concert is their most prestigious event of the year, held to mark the group's founding anniversary each May.

The 14th Birthday Live takes place across multiple nights at Tokyo Dome — Japan's iconic 55,000-capacity baseball stadium and one of the most coveted concert venues in Asia. The show combines elaborate stage production, choreography from across the group's discography, and special anniversary performances. Members graduate and new generations are formally introduced at Birthday Lives, making each edition a significant moment in the group's ongoing story. Tickets are allocated by ballot due to overwhelming demand.
