The April 2028 edition of Contract continues the British convention tradition of bringing together readers, writers, editors, and fans in a participatory format that prioritises conversation and community over commercial spectacle. Programme content covers literary and media SF and fantasy, with a mix of established guest authors and emerging voices. The convention runs across a long weekend and includes a dealer's room, art exhibition, and the informal social interactions that define the British fan convention experience.
