The Asia League Ice Hockey (ALIH) is the premier professional ice hockey league in East Asia, featuring clubs from Japan, South Korea, and China competing across a regular season and playoff structure. Founded in 2003, the league has elevated the level of professional ice hockey across the region and serves as the primary development pathway for players targeting national team selection.

The 2026–27 season begins in September 2026 with clubs from the Nikkō Ice Bucks and Tohoku Free Blades in Japan, the Anyang Halla and HL Anyang clubs in South Korea, and Chinese franchises competing for the league title. The Asia League plays a crucial role in building ice hockey infrastructure across the region and its clubs have contributed significantly to the growth of hockey participation, particularly as South Korea and China continue to invest in winter sports development.
