The Tour of Chongming Island is a UCI-sanctioned cycling race held on Chongming Island in the Yangtze River delta north of Shanghai. The largely flat island terrain makes the race a sprinters' event, and it has historically attracted strong women's competition as a round of the UCI Women's WorldTour alongside the men's competition.
The 2026 edition runs across three days from 13–15 October as part of the China cycling week that also includes the Tour of Guangxi. Chongming Island has been developed as an eco-island and the race showcases its cycling-friendly flat landscape and modern infrastructure. The event provides Asian cycling enthusiasts with accessible top-level racing and has helped grow a dedicated cycling audience in the greater Shanghai metropolitan area.
