2026 Tour de Langkawi

The Le Tour de Langkawi is Malaysia's premier professional cycling stage race and one of the most established UCI-sanctioned events on the Asian cycling calendar. The race takes its name from the island of Langkawi in northern Malaysia and traditionally includes stages across peninsular Malaysia and the Langkawi island itself, combining flat sprinters' stages with mountain finishes in the interior highlands.

The 2026 edition runs from late September to early October, attracting an international field of professional and continental teams from across Asia, Europe, and Australia. Malaysia's tropical terrain and September heat create a uniquely challenging race environment that tests riders' heat management as much as their cycling ability. The Tour de Langkawi plays an important role in developing cycling culture and infrastructure in Malaysia and the broader Southeast Asian region.
