The Suzuka 8 Hours is one of the most iconic endurance motorcycle races in the world and a round of the FIM Endurance World Championship. Held at Suzuka Circuit in Mie Prefecture, the race covers eight hours of continuous competition with teams of three riders sharing riding duties. Factory teams from Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, and Suzuki treat the home race as a matter of corporate and national prestige.

The 2026 edition takes place in early July in Suzuka's characteristic summer heat and humidity, which adds physical and mechanical challenge to an already demanding format. The race draws enormous crowds from across Japan and a global television audience. Suzuka's technical circuit layout — featuring the famous S-curves, the Spoon curve, and the high-speed 130R — has produced some of endurance racing's most memorable moments over four decades of competition.
